Penn State Special Metals, LLC is proud to be ISO certified. The ISO 9000 quality series was designed to create a set of standards for quality assurance and quality management principles applicable to all types of manufacturing and service facilities worldwide. The ISO 9000 quality series is comprised of three very similar standards: ISO 9001, ISO 9002 and ISO 9003. These standards are maintained by the International Organization for Standardization which represents countries all around the world.

Additional capabilities we offer include heat treating, straightening, pickle clean, Outside diameter polishing, nondestructive test (eddy current and ultrasonic), hydrostatic testing and lab services (tensile testing, metallography and hardness).

We specialize in converting your round/hex shaped bars or welded/seamless tubes in grades of stainless, nickel and specialty alloys.
